Estimates and Quotes

All estimates and quotes provided by us are:

  • Based on information provided by the customer
  • Valid for 30 days from the date of issuance
  • Subject to change based on actual conditions discovered during service
  • Non-binding until a written agreement is signed

Pricing and Payment

Our pricing is determined by various factors including the type of service, size of the project, materials required, and location. Payment terms are as follows:

  • Estimates: No payment required for initial estimates
  • Deposits: May be required for large projects (typically 30-50% of total cost)
  • Final Payment: Due upon completion of services
  • Accepted Methods: Cash, credit/debit cards, and checks (with prior arrangement)
  • Late Payments: Subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month

Scheduling and Appointments

Scheduling is subject to availability and is confirmed in writing or via email. Customers are required to:

  • Provide at least 24 hours notice for appointment changes or cancellations
  • Be present during service unless other arrangements are made
  • Ensure clear access to work areas
  • Remove obstacles that may interfere with service completion

We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about their needs and property
  • Ensure safe access to work areas
  • Remove valuable or fragile items from work areas
  • Follow any safety instructions provided by our technicians
  • Pay for services as agreed upon
  • Provide proper identification when required

Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for:

  • Damage caused by pre-existing conditions not disclosed by the customer
  • Damage to items not properly secured or removed from work areas
  • Normal wear and tear of window coverings
  • Damage caused by improper use or maintenance by the customer
  • Consequential or indirect damages

Our liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel services without penalty if notice is provided at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.

Changes to Services

Customers may request changes to the scope of work. Any changes will be:

  • Evaluated for feasibility and impact on timeline
  • Subject to additional charges if scope is increased
  • Documented in writing with customer approval
  • Completed according to the revised schedule

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Romney Cleaners and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from our services shall be resolved through the following process:

  1. Negotiation: Parties will attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation
  2. Mediation: If negotiation fails, parties agree to mediation before pursuing legal action
  3. Jurisdiction: Any legal action shall be filed in the courts of Hampshire County, West Virginia

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Romney Cleaners, its employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, or damage arising out of:

  • Your use of our services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your negligence or willful misconduct

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate service to any customer at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of:

  • Failure to make payments as agreed
  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Abusive behavior toward our staff
  • Violation of these Terms

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Civil unrest or government actions
  • Supplier or material shortages
  • Pandemics or health emergencies

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Romney Cleaners regarding the use of our services. Any modification to these Terms must be in writing and signed by both parties.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
